We are seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our established Pediatric GI division in Raleigh, North Carolina. The WakeMed Pediatric GI program was started in October 2014 and has shown successful steady growth over the past three years. Our team currently consists of two physicians, a nurse practitioner, research coordinator, and support staff. This is a clinical position providing outpatient, inpatient and endoscopic coverage. The division provides comprehensive care for children with GI problems through our outpatient clinic and through consultative support for the WakeMed Children's Hospital NICU, PICU and pediatric inpatient services. Call coverage and clinical responsibilities will be shared with team members.

Completion of an appropriate residency and training program required.
Graduate of an approved school of medicine. Completion of residency and fellowship at accredited programs. Board Certified or eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology required.
Licensed to practice as a medical physician in the state of North Carolina. Board Certified or eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology required.
Hours of Work: Monday thru Friday days
Weekend Requirements: As Needed
Call Requirements: Rotating
This position reports directly to the Director of Pediatric Subspecialties and supports the mission, values, and management of WPP. Qualified candidates must be currently BE/BC in Pediatric Gastroenterology. We do not provide visa sponsorship opportunities.
